Hoopz from I Love Money is a Cover Girl
August 24, 2008 by Lynn
Check out the October issue of King Magazine to see Hoopz on the cover. They haven’t released the article that goes along with her appearance in the magazine, or any other pictures, but I bet she’ll have a lot to say about her fellow castmates on I Love Money and Flavor Flav.

Public Enemy Celebrate 20th Anniversary of Anthemic Album
July 6, 2008 by Jonathan
Flavor Flav is enjoying a new generation of fans, since doing three seasons of Flavor of Love. And the pioneer of the hip-hop sidekick persona brings that new fandom to his band Public Enemy, as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back. According to Chart Attack, and the blogosphere in Québec, fans were rapping along and going nuts all night, as Chuck D, Flavor Flav, DJ Lord, and The S1W rocked the house in Montréal.
The band hit a snag, while entering Canada from the U.S. Professor Griff, and the band’s bassist and guitarist were not allowed to cross the border. Still, with just DJ and drums, they performed the album in its entirety to a grateful crowd.
Check out a little bit of the fun in this video:
I have to say, while it’s great that young crowds can relate to the issues in Public Enemy’s songs, it makes me sad that the same social issues are still relevant 20 years later. They really are legends who deserve a lot of respect for the stance that they take. If only we could just get it.
Flavor of Love 3: Reunion Episode
May 31, 2008 by Jonathan
This week’s Flavor of Love 3: Reunion, if Flav was correct, should be the final episode of Flavor of Love ever. We’ll see.
Interestingly, after three seasons of Flavor of Love, we find out that Flavor Flav already had love, Liz, the mother of his son, Karma. Crazy! What was this all about? John Kubicek, over at Buddy TV, had a good take on this. He compared it to the end of St. Elsewhere, where, after SIX seasons, you find out that the whole thing might have only existed in the mind of an autistic boy, Tommy Westphall. Not everyone interprets that show in that way, but maybe Flavor Flav really only exists in Tommy Westphall’s dream, or only in his snowglobe. That would make more sense!
Check out the videos of the Reunion episode. You can see all the drama, Flav’s reveal of his balding head. You also get to conclude all over again, that Sinceer generated the bulk of this season’s drama. There are some new fake breasts. So, there’s plenty to take in in these videos.

Find out what Flavor Flav and the contestants have been up to ever since Flav picked Thing 2 in the series finale of Flavor of Love
The reunion promises more of the catfights, funky speechifaction, and gratuitous booty-shakin’ that the series has always delivered. In fact, there are a couple of really big surprises. Can you say “proposal“? And, of course, there might be an old boyfriend who has more than surfaced.
That’s right, Thing 2’s ex is her new man, and some sources claim that Flav has a question for his baby mama. Others believe that Flavor Flav actually proposes to Black!
So, we’re just going to have to tune in Monday, May 26 at 9PM ET/8PM CT.

With the big reunion episode coming up, here’s the final Flavor of Love regular episode recap, for anyone who missed all the delicious excitement. Apparently, there was so much excitement that Flav fell asleep!
Check it out!
With Thing 2 back in the competition, Sinceer is obviously not happy. Her sulk looked like the deepest funk ever. She seemed a bit speechless in front of her, which was a little disappointing. She does mouth off under her breath a bit.
“So, you happy I’m here, Sinceer?” asks Thing 2. Ha! Love it. Sinceer is kind of quiet, just muttering something about the fact that she didn’t throw Thing 2 under the bus. Thing 2 knows what scares her. Thing 2 has from the very beginning. Don’t give her any help, she knows too much already.
In the hotel, Thing 2 blasts away to Black about her problems with Sinceer.

At breakfast, Flav holds up two tickets, and explains that he has three tickets. At first glance, we wonder about the man’s math, remembering that’s not why we love him. He has one to Paris, one to Monaco, and one to L.A.
Flav gives Thing 2 the ticket to Paris. Wow! What a comeback! That’s amazing. Eliminated once, then a comeback. Now, she gets the seemingly choicest of dates with Flav! [You go, Girl! You go! Then, you come back again! Then you kick some butt!]

Flavor of Love 3 Finale Videos: Black on the Spot, and as a Pillow
May 18, 2008 by Jonathan
The Love is almost over for Flava Flav. Monday night, the final episode of Flavor of Love airs. Will he find true love? Check out these sneak peaks at what Flav, Black, Sinceer, and Thing 2 endure to taste the Flavor of Love:
Here, Flav is using his list of questions to find out who is most compatible with him. Check out Flav asking Black to tell him a joke. He really puts her on the spot. I’m not surprised if she wasn’t able to spew out a joke, just like that.
Now, on their date in Monaco, Flav needs a bit of shuteye. So, where else would he do this, but in a carriage, on a date, leaning on Black. Nice!
Check out more Flav and Black, after the break…
