TwitterDo you Twitter?

Those are becoming the new words we all get asked more often lately. And if you do, did you know that you can follow and send messages to many of your favorite VH1 reality stars on Twitter?

So that you can get a good feel for which reality stars are using Twitter already, here’s a partial list. I say that it’s partial because I dond’t pretend to know every single one of the VH1 stars using Twitter, but these are the ones I’ve tracked down so far:

So if you haven’t already, be sure to set up a Twitter profile (it’s free!) and start following your favorites!

The Cho Show: Fear of Aging

September 19, 2008 by Lynn

The Cho Show

This week on The Cho Show, Margaret Cho explored her anxiety over aging. She’s about to turn 40 and in Hollywood that is tough to deal with. According to Margaret, when you age in Hollywood, you just disappear.

So she considered her options. She had lunch with Joan Rivers, the self-proclaimed poster child for plastic surgery. Joan, who is in her 70s has had two facelifts and is happy to tell everyone that it’s ok to do it, if it makes them feel better.

She checks out a plastic surgeon who loans her a couple of very large implants for a day to see what she thinks about having breast enlargement. There was a lot of play with those babies!

Then, she went to have anal bleaching done. (Can anyone tell me why this is important and why it would make someone feel younger?) She said it felt like her anus had eaten a candy apple. OMG!

Then she talked to a cougar-porn-star to finally realize that being sexy is ageless. Then she, her sidekick Selene Luna, her mom and the porn star all went out for “cougar night.”

I simply adore Margaret’s parents. They love her, no matter what crazy thing she decides to do. And even though she tries to convince us that they are straight-laced, I tend to disagree. They are wonderfully accepting!

And Margaret’s entourage is so fun. I like them all too. Margaret is truly showing us that not everyone walks to the sound of the same beat, and that’s a good thing! And she makes us laugh in the process. If you’ve never checked out The Cho Show, what are you waiting for?!

The Cho Show

Tonight we get to see the season premiere of The Cho Show, starring Margaret Cho. I’ve been dealing with some server issues or I would have had this posted a couple of days ago. (Sorry!) But here’s the super trailer for the show:

Margaret Cho at Her Show’s Screening

August 17, 2008 by Lynn

On August 13, VH1 held a screening for The Cho Show in New York City. Margaret was there, of course and here’s a photo that was taken of her at the event. I like the color of the dress, don’t you?

Two New VH1 Shows to Premiere on Thursday!

August 17, 2008 by Lynn

Get ready for The Cho Show & Glam God With Vivica A. Fox. Both new reality shows will premiere on this Thursday, August 21 and promise to bring us all new fun.

Vivica A. FoxGlam God With Vivica A. Fox

First to premiere will be Vivica A. Fox’s new reality show Glam God. She’ll be bringing her own celebrity style in a new competition show “ripped from the pages of the fashion magazines.” The new series, premiering on Thursday, August 21 at 10/9c PM, searches for the next great celebrity stylist who has what it takes to become the stylist to the stars.

Each week the “stylista” contestants will be asked to compete in various challenges that will test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create the perfect look from head to toe. The one stylist that manages to rise above the rest will be given the ultimate reward: the chance to launch a career by styling a celebrity and being awarded $100,000.

Margaret ChoThe Cho Show

Next up will be the premiere of The Cho show, starring comedian Margaret Cho when it premieres at 11/10c PM. The show will follow Margaret Cho and her eccentric entourage as she fights to be herself in an industry that in the past wanted her to be something different. Couldthis be the VH1 answer to Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List? (Both are gay icon comedians, both have been labeled controversial for various reasons and both will have their own reality show chronicalling their not-so-ordinary lives.)

I, for one, am really looking forward to this one. In it, the Cho family will be joined by her assistant Selene Luna and her “Glam Squad:” John Stapleton (make-up,) John Blaine (hair stylist,) and Charlie Altuna (wardrobe) who help her keep it together from head to toe.

Be sure to watch both premieres on VH1 this Thursday!

Three More New Reality Series Coming to VH1

March 9, 2008 by Lynn

There are three more new reality series getting ready to premiere on VH1 network. I like the direction VH1 is going with these new shows and look forward to following them with you. Check them out:

The Cho Show Thirteen years after her catastrophic foray into television, Margaret Cho is triumphantly returning to television in a new reality-sitcom on VH1 in “The Cho Show.” This time it’s on her own terms. This VH1 series will follow the irrepressible Margaret Cho and her eccentric entourage as she fights to be herself in an industry that in the past wanted her to be something other than herself. The series will touch upon all aspects of Margaret’s “anything goes” lifestyle, from the strained and awkward moments provided by her somewhat traditional Korean parents to the more irreverent and outrageous moments shared with her colorful cast of friends and colleagues.

New York Goes To Hollywood Having at long last conquered her quest for love, New York is ready to tackle her other life dream: superstardom. Don’t get it wrong - New York is already a star but she wants to be on the A-list - as a legit actress. In order to focus on her new mission, New York has to put her last conquest, Tailor Made, on the backburner as she tries to take on Tinsel Town. She’s moving out west to see if she can climb the Hollywood ladder. Question is, will she reach for the stars or fall flat on her face.

Brooke Hogan Knows Best The world has come to know and love Brooke Hogan over the past four seasons of the hit Celebreality show “Hogan Knows Best.” Her fans have felt for her through the years as she lived under the oppressive thumb of her father, Hulk Hogan. She’s been tailed, embarrassed, spied on, controlled, and now she is finally breaking free. Brooke is moving to Miami to begin her new life of freedom with lots of temptations and many new responsibilities. This show will follow Brooke Hogan as she embarks into a whole new world with no rules but her own. We’ll see this sheltered six foot blonde bombshell take on the city of Miami. We’ll see her deal with the ins and outs of daily life, the extra pressures of managing her career and finances without Mom and Dad, her new relationships, and for the first time being away from her family’s safety net. Brooke is no longer the innocent teenager under Dad’s lock and key, which ultimately pushes Hulk in to very uncomfortable territory as a Dad.
