Scott Baio & Christopher Atkins Talked to Rachel Ray

January 29, 2009 by Lynn

Yesterday, Scott Baio & Christopher Atkins of Confessions of a Teen Idol were guests on the Rachel Ray Show. I love how Scott talks so lovingly about his daughter and his wife. (Remember hen he was terrified of getting married?) And Christopher Atkins talked about his grown kids and what his life is like these days. It’s a cute clip.

Here’s a fun photo of Saaphyri, winner of Charm School Season 1 and Erin Moran, guest star on Scott Baio’s VH1 series together on the red carpet at FOX Reality Channel’s Really Awards. They seem like an unlikely pair, but they look to be having a blast together.

VH1 just let us know that Scott Baio and his fiancee, Renee, are expecting a girl. Here’s a bit from their site:

Only in the weird world of Celebreality do the results of an ultrasound double as a possible spoiler for an upcoming show! Scott Baio has revealed that he and his fiancée Renee are expecting a girl to be delivered in September. Scott, who’s currently filming the second season of his reality show, says he had to “adjust” to the fact that he and Renee wouldn’t be having a boy. Says Scott:

“It’s just like that great Rolling Stones song, you don’t get what you want, you get what you need. I needed to have a girl. It may be cosmic payback a little bit, but it needed to happen…We just went to get the 4-D imaging this week, and I saw her for the first time She is a girl and she has my head! I got pissed off about it because I have seen myself in drag for television and I am an ugly woman. Why couldn’t she have my wife’s head? She’s beautiful! As soon as she comes out I am sending her to plastic surgery!“

Congratulations to you both!!

Scott Baio is 45 & Single: Back For Round 2

September 13, 2007 by Lynn

baio_returns.jpg

The Hollywood Reporter let us know that Scott Baio’s series has been renewed for a second season. Here’s an excerpt from their article:

Scott Baio will be back on VH1 with another season of “Scott Baio Is 45 … and Single” and a new set of issues — this time, over impending fatherhood.

The first season of the unscripted show found the former “Charles in Charge” and “Happy Days” star struggling with commitment issues. The finale, which aired at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, showed Baio wrapping his two-month boot camp with his life coach, Doc Ali. At his “graduation party,” Baio committed to his relationship with girlfriend Renee by asking her to get married. Renee, in turn, surprised Scott by revealing that she’s pregnant.

The second season will find Baio struggling to come to terms with impending fatherhood, preparing for marriage and becoming a father to an 18-year-old stepdaughter. In addition, Baio’s friends — especially Johnny V. — will have to get used to the changes in his life.

The new season goes production in the fall and is slated to run with nine episodes (six half-hours and three hourlong installments).

Scott Baio is 45 & Single: Scott Has To Break Up With His Buddy

August 20, 2007 by Lynn

During this week’s episode, Scott has to introduce Doc Ali to his buddies. One of them, Johnny V, is totally toxic for Scott and wants to keep him from changing. Since Scott is trying to make positive changes in his life, he has to let go of his friendship with Johnny because it’s holding him back. It’s a good episode and shows that Scott is truly trying to change. Here’s a short clip:
