I Love Money: And the Winner Is…Hoopz!
October 11, 2008 by Lynn

This week we saw the finale of several shows on VH1. One of them was I Love Money. When last we left our money lovers, there were four left; Hoopz, White Boy, Real, and Megan. The show starts off with the last individual challenge to decide on a paymaster. It is called:

…referring to the time on Flavor of Love 2 when Krazy was almost tossed over a balcony by another contestant. So the money lovers must carry a Krazy dummy across a balance beam high up in the air and toss it over a balcony and then run back to the starting place. This whole thing is timed as well.

Megan starts off the competition, but it takes her a long time to go because she is afraid of heights. Then she struggles with the dummy because it probably weighs more than her.

Real came up next and had an okay time with the challenge.
But when Hoopz comes up, she speeds across the beam to throw Krazy and then stops, not remembering that the timer doesn’t stop until she reaches the other side.
So needless to say, White Boy ends up beating her slightly just because he remembers to complete the course. This makes him the final paymaster. It goes to his head and at the power dinner he gets a little drunk with power, and white wine. Apparently he is not a regular drinker cause he was acting a little crazy.

He’s not quite sure who to eliminate, so the Real and Megan start trying to convince him which way to go. After many minutes of listening to Megan once again backstab a contestant who confided in her it turns out she gets her way again. White Boy gets rid of Real because Megan tells him that he thinks White Boy is no longer loyal or trustworthy.

But Real doesn’t have to leave the house just yet. He, along with every other contestant that was eliminated after the teams broke up, become the jury who will get to ask the remaining three contestants questions in order to decide who will get to make it to the final two.

At this point seeing that she is probably screwed anyway, Megan quits, leaving Hoopz and White Boy to vie for the quarter million the next day. I think that Toastee and Pumkin were pretty disappointed that they didn’t get the chance to openly rail on Megan.

So the next day Hoopz and White Boy set out on their final challenge. They have to get a bunch of people in this Mexican town square to give them 100 pesos, take a taxi to the beach where they roll a giant coin through an obstacle course, take a boat back to the house, swim to shore, and put all of the eliminated cast members in order of their leaving the show. In the end, White Boy got a large lead after he was the first to get the pesos and Hoopz got caught in traffic behind a wreck. But Hoopz beat him out in the puzzle portion.
So there you have it folks, the first winner of Flavor of Love ended up also being the first winner of I Love Money.
