Get Involved With “In My Name”

There’s a very special new organization called In My Name founded by several people including Will.I.Am and supported by many celebrities, including Bono, Elle McPherson & Fergie.
Well, now they have teamed up with YouTube to add a video aspect to the project. YouTube has created a special channel devoted to those of you that want to pledge your commitment to ending world poverty and hunger. Just go to youtube.com/inmyname to view pledges and add your name to the petition. Here’s Fergie’s pledge:

The channel will be open through November 1. Everyone should take part in this effort against poverty around the world. It doesn’t cost a thing to add your name to the petition that will be seen by lawmakers around the world. The more people that sign it, the more serious our world leaders will take the situation and maybe they will be more motivated to find a way to end global poverty by 2015.
