Celebrity Rehab: Treatment Begins
Here are some extras for the season premiere of Celebrity Rehab. The celebrities arrived at the treatment center and talked to Dr. Drew about their addictions and the reasons they were there. Here’s Dr. Drew’s take on the first day of treatment for them:
Jeff Conaway seemed by far the most acute case of the day, since he had been on a huge binge just before arriving for rehab. Before the first evening was over, he had to be rushed to the hospital for acute withdrawal syndrome. It was very upsetting to see how hard it was for him.

In fact, if you want to see all the drugs he uses, here is his description of them all. No wonder he needs rehab. He started by getting addicted to pain pills and the addiction just spread to other things.
Porn star, Mary Carey also decided to have a drunken night on the town before rehab too. Here’s a clip of that, not seen in the show.
In the first episode, we saw 7 out of the 8 celebrities enter rehab. I’m guessing that Ricco will join them in episode 2. This show is reveting because it gives us a look at just how hard it is to kick a drug or alcohol addiction. I know I’m now hooked on the show. I highly recommend that you check it out too! It’s a good one!
