Matchbox Twenty: Photos of Their Video Shoot

It’s no secret that I’m a huge Matchbox Twenty fan. To me, Rob Thomas is not only a wonderful singer, but as a songwriter, he’s brilliant. His lyrics make him one of the most amazing songwriters in recent years. And the entire group totally rocks.

That being said, I thought you might like to see photos of the group, taken during their recent video shoot for the song These Hard Times, on January 5 in Williamsburg, New York. The band members include: Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Brian Yale and Kyle Cook.

After the jump, you’ll see photos of the video’s story board, or in other words, the plan for how the video will finally look, including all the transitions and scenes. This is really interesting to see! We also see a few photos of Rob Thomas in front of a “green screen” that allows the director to put any video or image they want behind him.
