New Reality Series To Begin In October
VH1 is finally allowing us to see the cast of the new upcoming season of America’s Most Smartest Model. It’s a strange title, but hopefully, the show will show itself to have humor instead. Here’s the show’s cast:

The shot above is your first look at the contestants of America’s Most Smartest Model, a new elimination-based reality show that’s set to premiere Sunday, October 7 at 9/8c on VH1. Hosted by Ben Stein and career fashionista Mary Alice Stephenson, the show will attempt to find brains behind the beauty in a series of challenges. It’s stimulation for the eyes and intellect. Sexy and sophisticated — imagine that! The winner will take away $100,000. More importantly, he or she will leave with the title of America’s Most Smartest Model. Do you have the mental capacity to understand the glory involved in that?

Ben Stein and this mean-spirited show’s producers, writers, researchers, directors, and whoever else is involved in this debacle should have learned their lesson with the revelation of his/their own lack of ‘most smartest-ness’ (i.e., stupidity, or if I wanted, unlike you, to be nice, I could say, their uninformed state of cognition) regarding the ‘Umbrella Tree’ when blonde Rachel named it and Mr. Stein said he’d never heard of it , and implied there was no such thing!
Well, well, well, guess what Mr. Ben Stein et al, dinosaurs are commonly known by their genus name and rarely by their ’species’ name! So you have once again demonstrated your lack of ‘most smart-ness’ (i.e., stupidity - why should I be nice? You people on this mean-spirited show are not!).
To get back to the dinosaur point; ALL DINOSAURS ARE WITHIN THE CLASS REPTILIA. ALL DINOSAURS ARE MOST COMMONLY KNOWN BY THEIR GENUS NAME, SUCH AS TYRANNOSAURUS, STEGOSAURUS, APATOSAURUS (USED TO BE CALLED BRONTOSAURUS), ETC. SO YOUR NOT-AT-ALL SMART QUESTION TO NAME ALL THE SPECIES OF DINOSAURS YOU CAN THINK OF WAS……. WELL… STUPID, AND OH YES, NOT THE MOST SMARTEST!!!
I actually do not like this type of program because what they are trying to accomplish is to
1) humiliate and embarass others, 2) make the host(s), hostess(es), producers, etc. look and feel good about themselves, and 3) make the general public feel better about themselves while scorning the contestant(s).
I ACTUALLY DID NOT WATCH THIS SICK SHOW. SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT YOUR STUPID, NOT MOST SMARTEST MISTAKES, AND I DECIDED TO COMMENT. I ALSO LOOKED UP THE UMBRELLA TREE AND SAW YOUR STUPID, NOT MOST SMARTEST IDIOCY IN THEIR TRIVIA SECTION REGARDING THE VERY REAL UMBRELLA TREE. THE UMBRELLA TREE IS NATIVE TO TROPICAL RAINFORESTS IN AUSTRALIA, NEW GUINEA, AND JAVA. IT IS ALSO CALLED THE OCTOPUS TREE AND THE GENUS SCHEFFLERA WAS NAMED AFTER A 19TH CENTURY BOTANIST, J.C. SCHEFFLER.
Perhaps you all should THINK FIRST, DO PROPER RESEARCH, THEN, AND ONLY THEN, OPEN YOUR MOUTHS. Until then, maybe you should consider a program titled America’s Most Smartest Producers, Researchers, Writers, Hosts. I would be willing to bet you could not get any viable contestants - HA!

Deborah: I agree with you wholeheartedly, in fact, I used to have an umbrella tree in my living room until my cat (feline) tried to climb it and broke the trunk….he’s a little fat.
The show is very condescending and I am reluctant to give it much space here, but, alas, I have a job to report on it. *sigh*
I actually think most of the models on the show are intelligent. (Take a look at the cast members page to see that most of them are academically accomplished people.)
Hopefully, this will not be a show that repeats.
