VH1 Casting Call

This week, several VH1 shows are looking for new cast members. Check out the latest list to see if you are the perfect person for any of these shows:

  • The Pickup Artist is looking for guys that would more likely be classified as a “geek” instead of a “stud”. Quirky, but likeable guys who have trouble picking up women should apply for this new reality show. Check out all the details here.
  • Your Cheatin’ Heart is looking for folks that feel that love has done them wrong. Has someone you love turned your life into a sad country song by cheating on you–are you ready to confront them about it? Are you a country soul who has been unfaithful in the past and you’re ready to make amends?…Find out how to audition here.
  • I’m a Secret Country Dancer is casting closet country dancers. Are you a country dancing fanatic? Are you someone no one would ever expect to be into country dancing? Do you spend your nights out at the local line dancing or square dancing venue? Here’s how you can apply for the show.
  • My Big Redneck Wedding is looking for people to have their wedding on TV. Are you planning the country wedding to end all weddings? If so, and you’d like to appear in a TV show, VH1 would love to hear from you. Find out how here.

Is it just me, or does VH1 seem to be planning a lot of country-type shows? I hope they don’t make this a habit. VH1 normally isn’t what I think of as a country channel. What are your thoughts? Leave a comment to let me know.

    I will never rush into anything, not even in making my songs right now, everything is being done out of my pocket and is very hard and I do like quality music even if it is a demo. I like people to see me as a definite famous singer in the future

    I want to be on the second season! I don’t think there was enough marketing about the 1st season. Barely any photographers in San Francisco heard about it. Look at my work!

    What did you guys think a bout the tech in the show it really seemed to be more of a challenge then they have a team project there is very little teaching done

    I promise that I’ll post the casting info here as soon as it’s announced, there just hasn’t been an announcement yet. I do expect a second season of The Shot, since it’s so popular. :-)
