Anand Jon, VH1 Star
So who is Anand Jon? If, like me, you haven’t been reading enough Vogue or W lately, you’re probably asking the same question.
Newsweek recently covered Anand as part of a pice about “Who’s Next in 2007.” Here’s a taste:
Jon came of age as a self-described party boy in Miami in the 1990s. That celebrity-studded culture, where he met and befriended the late designer Gianni Versace, helped inspire and shape his career in fashion. “Miami was hot then, it was like SoHo, so you got to know everyone fast, and I just became a part of it,” he says. The South Indian-born, Parsons-trained Jon launched his first line at New York Fashion Week in 1999 and has gone on to dress the likes of Paris Hilton (who has modeled many of his clothes on the runway), Janet Jackson and Bruce Springsteen.
His clothing will make its way to boutiques across the country this spring (think jeans in the $180-$340 range), but that’s not all he has up his sleeve.
This spring, Jon will also be stepping out from behind his sewing machine and going before the camera. He’s starring in a reality TV show that he’s developed for VH1 with his friend and “Lost” star Michelle Rodriguez, in which cameras will shoot his daily life as a designer and socialite.
Hmmm… Sounds like another peek inside the extravegant world of celebrities and high fashion.
Think it will be a hit?

i agree with the first dude, he’s a nobody and he has hyped or made up his celebrity. eg. he pays them off with free clothes to hang out…loser

I think he is guilty of rape. Here is why… I met him thru a friend of mine a couple of years ago. I used to hang out in his studio/apartment in NYC on 59th st. I’m a web designer so he wanted me to redo his horrible site but I never ended up doing anything besides hanging out with him. He always had girl models coming in and trying clothes on… Anyways, one time he invited me to the Hamptons so I went with his group which included his family, Mom, sister and his old uncle, oh, and a group of young models some looked under 18, they were all wearing these tight Anand Jon t-shirts. While we were there at one of the few parties we went to, one of the gilrs told me Anand had asked 2 girls if they would sleep with him… and they were eww!
I finished the night bored going home with my friend and left him and his group looking for a party to crash. That’s all we were doing, going from place to place, he wasn’t really invited to any parties he just showed up and went in trying to be cool.
So if you ask me if I think he is guilty of those charges against him.. I would have to say I’m not surprised at all so he is probably guilty. I really think he’s done “things” with underage girls.
Overall he is a really nice person, sometimes I think he thinks he is a super hollywood star which he is not.

I actually know this guy…total loser.
Not surprised at the rape charges. He was arrogant and treated everyone like they were below him. His sister acts like he’s some kind of God and cult figure…This guy is a totally insecure, short and ugly guy who gets his self esteem by hanging out with celebrities, taking advantage of unknown models and buliding this idiotic mystique around him playing up his Indian heritage but tempering it with “I’m Jewish” and Christian speil. He’s just all around pathetic and untalented

before all is said and done, there will be literally HUNDREDS of rape and/or sexual assault charges filed against this man.
there are multiple rapes being investigated against anand jon in a number of states other than calif … including texas and new york.
and, the police are likely to charge accomplices to these crimes as well … including - if sources are correct - one or more people very close to anand jon.
one reliable source inside the investigation says that approximately 100 young women - a significant number underaged - have come forward to charge jon with rape and/or other sexual assaults.
