I know it is very exciting to watch reality shows. I like them too… but…. do not really get a chance to watch tv because I work a lot, I am a parent, and in grad school. Can your really find love from a reality show? Maybe.
I know I would not audition for a date with any man. I am a private person. I would rather find true love by chance, but that is just me. And even then, it would really take time for me to allow a person into my heart because I want to trust and know that he is true. I believe in seeking that with which lies within. Sincerity makes the beauty of ones heart shine. Isn’t this what you are trying to tap into? Even if you meet a decent person on tv…it will take time to know if the person is really a good person.
How can a celebrity find love when there are so many women or men out there who are only interested in becoming famous for dating a celebriy or have eyes on the celebrity’s money?
It saddens me.
But I do hope that if you do not find love on the show…that you at least have fun.

I just have to say what everyone is thinking… All the ladies on the first season to have a little bit of sense(except for Hottie) The girls on the second season are all as crazy and dumb as a bag of hammers. New york had the best thing going keeping to herself and to flav no matter how dramatic she was. Hope some of the new girls keep that in mind.

The second season is off the hook. Way better than season two. There are a couple of girls that are a hot mess. But Like Dat seems like the only one with sense. Buckwild is to funny. The ultimate is when the girl dumb on herself. She is now the pooping chick.

Unbelievalbe! is how i can describe the second season. It is so sad to watch what our young women will resort to in the hopes to get instant fame and fortune. What ever happened to the saying “nothing is Free” everything has a price, and the price that these young women are paying is their reputation, character, and self esteem. These young women have a lot of growing to do, their maturity level, decision making and self esteem is still in the infant stage. If Flav was serious about finding love and making it work, he would focus his energy and time on real women and not “Girls” as he calls them. Flav needs a women who in her own right has established herself, who is focused, and who can stand strong on her own without using her man’s fame and fortune. Flav is afraid of love, that is why he seeks young women to play with.

You guys have to be kidding! why do you think he is doing all these VH1 shows? To get more money. If he was “set” he would not have to do this…it’s bee like 15 yrs or more and the royalty checks are not that big- and only go so far. I pray that these woman don’t have children that will some day see there mommy on TV bending over allowing a complete stranger see all the goodies. What is the world coming to when our woman think it’s okay to disrespect there selves in this way.
These sad, and I do mean sad woman allow Flav and some of the other woman on the show to treat them like they are nothing. This show is so degrading to our woman not just our woman of color, but woman in general.
The price of fame at that cost? I would rather stay broke, living paycheck to paycheck and still be rich in my self worth; knowing that I did not compromise myself.
This show is just bad all the way around. It’s not cool to be stupid. And that is exactly how these woman act. Do they know that this man has know money, and that is not even his house? The show provides all of that for those woman to come on there and make complete Jackasses out of them selves. You woman are giving him to much power, making him look cool by making you all look nasty, stupid, crazy, and no respect for your bodies, or souls.
If my daughter ever went on a show like that, I would show up and beat her ass on camera in front of everyone.
I’m praying for all those woman. I will protest this show in any way I can. If you as a woman was smart, you would do the same. This show is the prime example of what’s wrong with our young girls today. Vidoes, movies, TV, Music makes it okay for men to treat woman like meat. It’s not okay. It’s not okay.

You is down with you and truly loves you as that of Delicious. Crazy she is there but really flav she will hurt you. The facts are all there. New York was brought back for RATINGS, people…believe THAT. I think this show is genius…something for the MEN (breast and booty) and something for the WOMEN (cat-fights, competition). Who do YOU know that can captivate audiences, young and old, all races, AND BOTH SEXES?!? To top it off, he’s “keepin’ it real”, being himself, playing the player’s game, and getting COLD PAID! I am a very conservative woman, now, but can definitely relate, player-to-player, the game that is goin’ down, like I once played it. I LOVE the way he plays NEW YORK to his advantage (absolute GENIUS to bring her back to the show), the way he kept it REAL to eliminate BOOTZ (who AIN’T givin’ up the booty), while keepin it HOT with DEELISHUS AND KRAZY. Real players know the best play is to pit the players against one another. WAY TO GO, FLAV!! I believe the last two will be NEW YORK and DEELISHUS!! Krazy tipped her hand with her “ambition”. I want to seriously post something here….my son is 10 yrs old, and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Well, he was flipping through channels a few weeks ago and saw the end of the flav episode when buckwild walked off the show….and he thought she was pretty, and kind of had a little ‘crush’ on ms. buckwild…
Well, I recently found her online and told her about my son, and his lil crush on her.
She took the time to call him and talk to him…and that totally made his whole YEAR!!!
I mean, she took time out to call a sick little boy and put a huge smile on his face.
Buckwild(Becky)is a kind and compassionate woman to do a thing like that….and I wanted you all to know that about her.

I watched the whole 1st season and I don’t miss one episode of season #2. I think Flav is getting paid to do this. It’s business. All of them stupid girls are there for money and fame. Trashy ass girls that don’t know better, don’t know who to make a living. I think that Flav should have kept Nibblez, because she always kept it real. New York (AKA Drama Queen)ain’t real. I know (and everyone should know) none of them girls are real’ to include “DELISHIS”. I think “DELISHIS” would make a lot of many if she was to go to Hollywood. She plays her role so nice, so smooth. But, the truth is this is just Business and everyone there is after $$$ MONEY, to include Flavor Flav! I gotta say this show is very entertaining. And it is sad to say, that in a way is very degrading towards women (in general ~ not only black women). Flav’s ugly ass has no respect for women. And it’s sad to know this when he got a mother and he has daughters. He is smart in a way, he is making money with this shows.

LOOK, tyler — you’ve heard the saying, “it’s a black thang; YOU WOULDN’T UNDERSTAND!!” Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and culture has a great deal to do with that. It would appear you’ve been conditioned to “SEE” the beauty standard as being white and slight (and in Krazy’s case, FAKE). But “BROTHAS” want something they can hold onto and someone that’s REAL (A QUEEN). They are also “in control” of their own lives, despite what stereotypes may lead one to believe, and FLAV and other REAL black men don’t need “handling”. I can’t see FLAV with a shrew like “NEW YORK”. Her presentation is fake, and she sould easily get on one’s last nerve. There’s nothing wrong with Deelishus’ parents, either. They’re both gracious, and by African-American standards, A STUNNING COUPLE. It’s time to get your head out of the sand. Look at Flav, the man, and you will see that DEELISHUS is a great FIT for all aspects of FLAV’s life!

And while “many” people may not mean “most”, and the “some” are probably more than you may think, the “white standard of beauty” is obvious — slender build, light hair, light eyes, long stringy hair — the “conditioner” has been around as long as I’ve been here, and I’m finally seeing a change where ALL physical beauty is being embraced, and Flavor Flav has demonstrated that with his choices. But the bottom line is that it takes MORE THAN THE PHYSICAL to make a beautiful woman, because if not, we could even work on New York to make her beautiful, too. But that wouldn’t work, would it? I agree with you Oledlady on some things you say; especially your last post. However I don’t think Flav is a man other than the fact that God created man and woman. He’s helping to disgrace all women no matter what the race is. I wonder how he would react to one of his daughters going on a show exactly like this one.
Unfortunately I watch the show sometimes because I’m stuck, and shocked at how far our woman will go to achieve fame. You are right it is entertainment, just not in good taste. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the show. There’s absolutely nothing good about it. When I watch I feel ashamed and sad for them, and I wonder what brought them to this. Trust me I am being very active in my fight to get young woman to see that this is not cool. I’m working on the little ones, teenagers, young ladies in there twenties; teaching them not to sell their self worth for a buck. Like I said before: The price of fame at that cost? I would rather stay broke, living paycheck to paycheck and still be rich in my self worth; knowing that I did not compromise myself.

This is my opinion, and like anyone else- I have a right to express it.
But I am not talking about substance.The show isn’t really about Substance. I never said anything about substance…Maybe eluded to the lack of it. Come on, we are on a Vh-1 blog!
I don’t know any of these women to say who has or has no substance. From the “looks” of it, all may be lacking some substance to be on the show. Tonya, I agree with your views regarding these women’s self worth. It is sad. However, the show grabs attention.
I don’t find New York to be drop dead gorgeous. However, she has a defined character and takes control as a bitch to everyone. She gets ratings. If we are going to look at the “lie” we might as well see it for what it is.
I don’t stand behind your opinion of me being “ignorant”. If blacks group themselves.., it is by choice and by the racial conditioning of others as well as other blacks. Look at Survivor for instance-the controversy the ratings,entertainment, etc. It keeps people talking/interested.
I have the courage to stand by what I say regardless of my race or background. That is what I meant regarding the whole “race” statement…I don’t classify myself with others of a like race because we have race in common.(”Better to stand in a group than stand alone.”) Lest if I did- I would be considered racist. I understand grouping when it comes to medical data, statistics, but to do it on a regular basis?
Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder…and only skin deep. These girls are either prettier or less pretty when putting their character/personality in play. But,I was speaking on a looks basis alone. How is it “Payshintz” is beautiful in a white standard of beauty? She is half black and looks more exotic than white.
Spunky was attractive- yeah her character was bland and chaotic but I am only talking looks wise, IMO.

BRAVO!!!!!!! :) I agree totally with you about these women being treated like dirt. But, then again, Flav isn’t holding them hostage, either. Sadly, this is just a bunch of women with very low self-esteems. Bootz, for example. So many ‘applauded’ her on her decision not to have sex with that odius little man(who could blame her? No i don’t know a lot about you, but that is what the show is for 2 get 2 know you and go on from the taking nothing 2 serious at first the growing together which would lead to an undestorable relationship. But since i could be the 1 i guess in an honest way you have 2 ladies who i think have your best interest at heart. But to break it down for you in a fans point of view : When i found out about the second show and i wasn’t on it i was pissed(but i’ve kinda gotten over it) but When NEW YORK was not on there i was like that ain’t right cause i thought she should have had you over hoops.So when she came back i was like “LET THE GAMES BEGAN”. But before she got there I knew your girl DEELISHIOUS was going 2 be in the top 2 ladies. BREAKING it down i really like NEW YORK but when trying 2 grow a relationship with someone and you have kids (you have to consider their feelings and in your case you and your kids r so close that SHOULD MATTER) the woman you decide show know how 2 handle children and young adults as you have. Not so much is to handle but be open 2 love and share as she would do for you. But DEELISHIOUS baby she is a WINNER smart, made a good connection with your kid and you made a great connection with her parents(so we saw).And besides if you can’t get along with NEW YORK’s mother how are your kids gonna handle or you say you want 4 more children i don’t think she would make that easy because she don’t want her babygirl with you, thats making it bad for your future child. I believe in love to an extent, dont get me wrong. but new york was crazy, it was awesome she “loved flavor” but she didnt know him , i mean she spent time with him and screwed him but cmon, she claimed she loved him from the begining. im sure a lil bit of it was fame and money, also she was a complete drama queen. i did feel bad for her second time she was rejected tho, because if i was her and i wud go back on the show, i wuda thought i wud win, and he jus wanted me. but delicious, as good as she seems, i dunno. she jus didnt see happy that he picked her, sure she was good and down to earth. but my homeboy sent me a link to her website, and its got nude pix of her. so i dunno maybe she is real and it was a past thing. but love can only go so far, and new york was acting like her crazy ass mama. and no man cud put up with that, expecially flavor because he was independent, slept around, and was his own person, did wht he wanted when he wanted, he doesnt needa girl to put a leesh on him, but to nurture his freedom, and respect his wishes to do some things his way, and and i think deelishes is the girl for him…

I feel like Flav is in love with New York and I know he would have picked her until she pulled that shit on the boat. But in his heart he knows that he wanted New York. I just don’t want Deelishis to get hurt because she is a real nice person and I know that NY and Deelishis were there for Flav, but New York is not a good match for him and will not fit into his family. His kids don’t like her. I’m just hoping that he doesn’t brake Deelishis’s heart and leave her to be with New York because she doesn’t deserve that.

You know, I was thinking about it, and ironically ’sister’ reminds me so much of NY…I wonder if she is NY???? LOL That would explain all of the animocity…
And, sister…just to ask you a quick question, what is the definition of the word ‘class’ to you? Because in my opinion, NONE of those girls on that show really showed any class..even though I have to admit, I did genuinely like a few of them(ie:Deelishus, Boots and Buckwild)but really, none of them had any class or self respect.
To me, “class” one aspect of class is to have respect for yourself and others which none of these women displayed.
Like I said in an earlier post, for example..the term ‘bitch’….when did it become a term of affection? On the top of this very page, all the women are referred to as ‘THE BITCHES’ and to me that is very disturbing.
Take NY for example…CLASS?? SISTER…PLEASE..Do you really think that a woman who has sex with a man she has only known for a few weeks(I am talking about season 1, where she did and freely admits to having sex with flav)classy? Really?
